    European Cement Index Methodology

    The CTC European Cement Index synthesizes cement price signals from Eurostat PPI, UN Comtrade trade data, EU ETS carbon costs, and industry reference sources. Prices are quoted in EUR per metric ton, with USD conversions at current exchange rates. Evidence grades follow the IOSCO-style waterfall (A=transaction verified, B=strong evidence, C=editor-assessed, D=model-only). The index covers EU27 member states plus the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and Turkey.
