About Concrete Transition Capital

We wake up every day to get concrete to zero in our lifetime.

Concrete is the backbone of the built world. It is also one of the largest unsolved climate problems hiding in plain sight.

Low-emission cement and concrete solutions exist today. The bottleneck isn't chemistry. It's scale. And scale is blocked by a missing piece: bankable project finance for first-of-a-kind and early commercial facilities in a market that is local, spec-driven, and risk-averse.

Concrete Transition Capital exists to close that gap.

We are building the sector's financing platform — purpose-built to take credible low-emission production projects from "it works" to "it scales." We do it by doing three things: we are a deal team with capital, we build the market data, and we align the market.

    We do three things

Each one on its own is useful. Together they are a capital market: money that can move, data that can price, and demand that can pull.

    Deal team with capital

Structures and funds the projects that put lower-carbon concrete in the ground.

    • Blended capital that absorbs first-of-a-kind industrial risk.
    • Contracted revenue so projects are financed on cashflows.
    • Execution support from pilot through commissioning.
    How we invest

    Market data

The Concrete Terminal: plant, mix and price data across the cement-to-concrete supply chain to underwrite how and where materials move.

    • A digital twin of the cement-to-concrete supply chain.
    • Delivered-cost curves, indices and emissions baselines.
    • Underwriting-grade data lenders and insurers can price.
    Open the Terminal

    Market alignment

Brings together producers, buyers and policy to create the pull for lower-carbon concrete.

    • Convening producers, buyers, policy and capital.
    • EAC market design published in the open.
    • Procurement language and offtake matching.
    How we align the market

A capital market for lower-carbon concrete

    Why We're Vertical

Most climate investing is built on a generalist playbook: find technologies, write checks, wait for adoption. Concrete doesn't work like that.

    Concrete is:

A spot market, priced job-by-job, locally, with limited forward visibility
A regional recipe, constrained by feedstocks, logistics, codes, and field conditions
A liability product, where performance risk and reputational risk govern decisions
An industrial system, where execution and commissioning risk can kill even 'proven' tech

    Specialization is the strategy

In a market like this, specialization isn't a limitation. It's the strategy. CTC is intentionally and permanently vertical because success requires:

    • Deep market intelligence and operational credibility
    • Underwriting-grade technical validation
    • Bankable contracting structures
    • Repeatable project finance execution

If we want concrete at net zero, we need a platform that is built for concrete — every day, all the time.

    Our Team

A small, scrappy team with serious track records. The same people structure the capital, build the Concrete Terminal and align the market.
